Born and raised near Lake Winona, PA, Ariel Hug has had an interest in horses as far back as she can remember. Getting her feet wet in the reining industry on the east coast, she quickly became hooked on performance horses. Taking an assistant position with Adam Hendrickson in northern Colorado helped her continue her education in the equine industry. After working for Adam for 3 years she went out on her own. With roughly $30k in National Reining Horse Association earnings, an NRHA Rookie Professional title, and an NRHA Reserve Limited Open World Championship makes Ariel a leading up-and-coming professional in the industry. However, she still enjoys developing the occasional English horse, competing in the ranch riding, coaching youth riders, and expanding her training in the cattle events.
